The induction of the first group into the International Adult and Continuing Education Hall of Fame marked an important moment in the history of 20th century adult learning. The accumulated legacies of ideas, leadership, and scholarship of the inductees – which represent the best of the past and near-past – provides a critical touchstone for continuing education's next century.
These innovative leaders have believed passionately in the evolutionary power of education. All are themselves exemplary lifelong learners and have left lasting impressions on the students, institutions, and organizations they have served.
Outstanding Educators Inducted into 2020 IACE Hall of Fame
Six exemplary adult and continuing education educators were recently recognized with induction into the International Adult and Continuing Education Hall of Fame, housed at University of Oklahoma Outreach, on the University of Oklahoma Norman campus, since 1996. The induction for the class of 2020 was held March 11, 2020, at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown Hotel.
